If you are looking for an alternative to kennels, we at Phoenix House offer a personalised ‘home from home’ dog boarding in Diss and a day care service as well, designed for those seeking a caring, peaceful and stress-free environment for their dog.

We provide tailored care according to each dog’s needs and all our guests live as part of our family, along with Rocco (our Sprocker), in our comfortable and spacious home. We only board a maximum of 4 dogs at a time as we want to be sure that we can give each dog individual care and attention.

We want you to enjoy your time away, safe in the knowledge that your dog’s welfare and happiness is our absolute priority at all times.

Dog Boarding in Diss

Our home is located just one mile north of the market town of Diss in a semi-rural and unspoilt area where there is easy access to attractive farmland and countryside walks. We have a large secure rear garden and we feel that our ‘point of difference’ is our fenced one acre tree-lined meadow where dogs can run and play to their hearts’ content, under supervision of course.

We welcome sociable, well-behaved dogs. (We regret we do not board giant dogs or Huskies or dogs under 12 months of age.) They have access to individual sleeping/resting quarters, cosy sofas to snuggle up on and are exercised at least twice daily and according to their routine and needs. It is our mission to ensure they have a happy and fulfilling time during their stay.

We would always advise an initial visit to ensure we can provide for your dog’s needs. We would then ask you to book a trial overnight stay (charged at the standard rate) as this will give your dog an opportunity to become familiar with our home, and us, prior to you making a booking.

Fully Insured & Licenced

For your reassurance, Phoenix House Home Boarding is fully insured and holds a 4* boarding licence with South Norfolk Council. In addition, both Rowena and David are Canine First Aid trained.
